Looking to jam in Utrecht and form a rock/blues band and experiment
I am myself a guitarist (41y.o) and I am looking to form a band (or an aucustic duo/trio) in Utrecht. The genre is towards rock/blues/jazz/grunge where as an example (rock goes from beatles to pink floyd, blues goes from eric clapton to jimi hendrix, jazz is limited to most known j.standards, grunge includes pearl jam, stone temple pilots) What I am looking for is: a drummer, a bass player and a singer/2nd guitar, possibly keyboard/other instruments. What is important is that while reharsing we try to give our own interpretation and then possibly go towards our own music. I studied guitar theory for some years and improvisation so i can arrange/modify/experiment however I am not the music guru you think of. I am open from just jam a few times to more serious challenges like preparing a small repertoire for live performances and eventually record.
