Drummer looking for band
Hi everyone!
I am Johannes and I play the drums. I moved to Amsterdam fairly recently and am looking for a band.
In the past, I have mostly played in stoner rock / doom / neo-psychedelia bands (Elder, Kind Buffalo, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Motorpsycho, ...), but am also open to other styles. I also like progressive stuff (Opeth, Steven Wilson, The Mars Volta, ...), some Indie (early Portugal. The Man, Minus the Bear, Kiev), Post-Hardcore (Amen Ra, Cave I, Pelican, ...), and recently got into listening to some Jazz.
For me, having fun and playing with some nice people is the most important. At the same time, some mild level of ambition would be great - I'd like to do regular rehearsals (perhaps once per week) and aim to play live and record something. I also play a bit of bass and guitar, but mainly for recording ideas in my little "home studio".
