Musician looking for a band! (Nijmegen)

Hello everyone!

My name is George (28) and I'm looking to either join or form a band.

My musical journey started since I was 8, when I began taking piano lessons until the age of 17. Meanwhile, I started learning the guitar and the bass by myself at the age of 14.

I have since joined a couple of bands primarily as a keyboardist and a bassist. Currently, I'm the bassist of a progressive metal band called Elder Tusk (debut album to come out soon).

My influences range from 70's rock to today's metal, but I'm open to incorporate different genres. I am more comfortable as a bassist in a band, but I'd prefer to be the rhythm guitarist within the potential band (I've been practicing a lot lately).

Ideally, I would like to be performing often in stages, either as a cover band at first, and then -why not- write our own songs. I quite enjoy composing stuff!
