Mistaken for Strangers is looking for new members!

We are Mistaken for Strangers, Alt-rock band based in Eindhoven. The band was founded by Karolis, Lithuanian singer and guitarist, and later joined by Marnix, the drummer.

Together we make dynamic music with strong, hard-hitting riffs and chord progressions alternated with atmospheric, psychedelic passages. The lyrics tackle confrontational topics, often critiquing the current state of the world.

Our music is influenced by bands like the Foo Fighters, Queens of the stone age and Radiohead to heavier music such as Architects and System of a Down.

The band has several releases over the last years, including the full-length self-produced album Foreign Dreams. We have a great rehearsal space in the north of Eindhoven, where we rehearse on Thursday evenings.

We are looking for a bass player who wants to contribute to our original material, and help us release the next album, as well as get on stage with us. Additionally we are looking for a guitarist or keyboard player that can give our music the additional layer of harmonic intricacy and atmosphere it deserves.
