Jasper de Moor was born in Veldhoven on the 11th of August in 1989, and started as a DIY musician in 2011 after the breakup of his old Indie-rock band 'You Me And the TV'. He can often be seen on stage in the Eindhoven bar scene. His music includes themes of hope and a desire to ‘live where the sun always shines’, but also explores some heavier themes such as social anxiety and feeling disconnected from modern society.

Jasper de Moor’s recent 2021 effort ‘Apocalypso’ was inspired by current day events over the last five years. Lyrically 'Apocalypso' delves into heavier themes and is more politically charged than previous efforts. The message de Moor conveys in ‘Apocalypso’ is that even when the world is about to end, you might as well dance into oblivion with a smile on your face. Sonically, de Moor’s recent effort starts off relaxed and upbeat but when the album progresses, the songs become somewhat heavier, envoking comparissons with artists such as Kings of Leon or Belgian outfit dEUS.
