Introductie
Junior Royal academy of music started from September 2022
Private drum lessons since age 5 playing all genres of music ranging from afro cuban - tango - pop and jazz. Until I was 14 years old my most recent drum teacher and I focussed primarily on Jazz.
Orchestral percussion private lessons from age 11- 16 following trinity graded exams for snare drum, timpani and marimba until grade 8 then attempting college level marimba pieces by Ivan Trevino "Catching Shadows."
National Youth Jazz Collective - summer jazz course in 2022 for a week playing with a jazz combo everyday tutored by Mark Mondesir, Soweto Kinch and Brigitte Beraha.
Jazz piano lessons since age 16
Currently studying 1st year Bachelor Jazz drums at Codarts with teachers Joost Patocka and Mark Schilders and having drum lessons with afrobeat artist Rema’s drummer - Els
