Introductie
I'm an experienced songwriter/producer/musician. The songs I write and put online are performed by my band Chinatown Rose. As I play all the instruments myself it's practically a one-man band with an occasionally guest singer.
I don’t specialize in any specific style, so you can expect a colourful mix of (old school) rock, soul, R&B, C&W, rap, metal and EDM. My lyrics mainly deal with the state of the world, which I view in a critical, satirical and ironic way. I try to keep my music basic, straightforward and pleasant to listen to. I’m no longer particularly interested in becoming well known as a performing artist myself, but I would very much like other artists to cover my songs.
My lyrics are 90% in the English language; the rest is in Dutch. Every now and then I produce instrumental tracks mainly for sync licensing.
